Helen, I enjoyed reading your contribution to this genememe. It looks like we share some family history similarities – lots of ag labs, Smiths, and all from Great Britain and Ireland. Thanks again.

I think ab labs and ancestors from GB and Ireland must be common family backgrounds for we Aussies.
Hi Geniaus and Aillin, Yes Ag labs and Smiths are definitely a common ocurrance among Aussies. England and Ireland most common until post WW2.
I'd probably die of shock if I found a blue-blood!
I do have a number of shoemakers, stonemasons, ribbon weavers and a mole-catcher
