    I think ab labs and ancestors from GB and Ireland must be common family backgrounds for we Aussies.

  3. Hi Geniaus and Aillin, Yes Ag labs and Smiths are definitely a common ocurrance among Aussies. England and Ireland most common until post WW2.

    I'd probably die of shock if I found a blue-blood!

    I do have a number of shoemakers, stonemasons, ribbon weavers and a mole-catcher
